In early may of 2000 Ron ,Mike (a.k.a. CALICO),and I loaded our bikes and headed west to Missouri. Arriving in St. Charles early in the morning we waited for the U-haul place to open. Once getting our U-haul we set off for Clinton ,Mo. on the western side of Mo. and the starting point of the KATY TRAIL.
